If you've been keeping up with the league, you've probably noticed that the Suns are tearing it up on the courts. Few people remember that this team was considered a championship contender even just two seasons ago, yet they missed the playoffs last year.
The Suns are no longer with Shaquille O'Neal, and they may very well be better off for it. Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Grant Hill, and the rest of the crew are playing some inspired basketball and they're back to their fast paced game.
How about the Thunder down in Oklahoma City? Everyone knows that one day this team may eventually break out. After all, Kevin Durant is one of the best young talents in the league and he as a nice supporting cast.
They were one of the worst teams in the league last season, and they've really improved like it's nobody's business. This team won its first two games of the season and forced the Lakers to an overtime period.
There's one more team for us to review, and this is one that seems to be struggling. The Cleveland Cavs dominated the regular season last year, but 09-10 seems to have brought just the opposite to start things out.
The team lost its first two games. Sure, many could say that the loss to the Celtics could happen on any given night. How about the loss to the Raptors though? This took many by surprise, as this was a game the team never would have lost last season. With each and every game mattering as far as home court advantage goes, Cleveland needs to fix itself in a hurry.
